Terms of Service

Effective July 13, 2026

These terms govern your use of StockDash (stockdash.ca). By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.

1. What StockDash is — and isn't

StockDash is a stock-research dashboard: realtime quotes, fundamentals scorecards, a configurable DCF model, analyst consensus, dark pool and insider data, and a portfolio tracker.

StockDash is not investment advice. Nothing in the service is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or asset, and nobody involved in building it is a licensed financial advisor, broker, or dealer. StockDash never holds your funds and cannot execute trades. Scores, fair-value estimates, and portfolio insights are simplified models built on stated assumptions — they are estimates, not predictions. Do your own research and consult a licensed professional before making financial decisions.

2. Accounts

You need an account to subscribe. Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself; you’re responsible for activity under your account. One account is for one person — don’t share access.

3. Subscriptions and billing

StockDash is sold as an annual subscription, billed in Canadian dollars plus applicable taxes, and renews automatically each year until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.

Whatever price you subscribe at stays at that price for as long as the subscription remains active without a lapse. That includes earlier Founding Members on $22 CAD/yr, who keep it. If a subscription is cancelled or lapses and you later resubscribe, the price then current applies — presently $55 CAD/yr during the limited-time window, and $90 CAD/yr as the regular rate once it closes.

Some features are offered free of charge as a complimentary preview — currently the Market Strain Gauge and the Canadian markets summary. Preview access is provided while it lasts, carries no minimum term, and may be reduced, gated behind an account, or withdrawn at any time without notice. It forms no part of a paid subscription, and its withdrawal does not affect a paid subscription or entitle anyone to a refund.

You can cancel anytime from Manage billing in the app; access continues until the end of the period you’ve paid for. If a renewal payment fails, access is suspended until payment succeeds.

4. Market data

Quotes, fundamentals, and analyst data come from Yahoo Finance; dark pool (off-exchange ATS) data comes from FINRA. This data can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong, and its availability isn’t under our control — verify anything important against a primary source before acting on it. FINRA weekly data in particular is published with a reporting lag of several weeks.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t abuse the service: no scraping or bulk-extracting data, no reselling or redistributing the data or your access, no attempting to bypass the subscription gate or rate limits, and no using the service to break the law. We may throttle or suspend accounts that do.

6. Availability and changes

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We work to keep it fast and available but don’t guarantee uninterrupted service, and features may change or be discontinued. If we ever discontinue the service entirely, active subscribers will be refunded pro-rata for the unused part of their term.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StockDash and its operator are not liable for trading or investment losses, lost profits, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on its data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose.

8. Termination

You can stop using StockDash anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms; if we terminate your account without cause, you’ll be refunded pro-rata for the unused part of your subscription.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Questions: support@stockdash.ca.
